So I'm getting on this exercise kick. I've gained quite a bit of weight in the past year and a half, and I'd like to get back at least closer to where I was then. I know it's not realistic to think I'll weigh 110 lbs for the rest of my life, but I'm well into the "overweight" territory. I don't feel as healthy as I used to, either, so hopefully this working out thing will help.

I've started going to classes at my gym, because I figure that will kick my ass in gear. And so far, it's been working. I feel better, I'm excited to go, and I think I'm sleeping a little better too. I know, three weeks of classes isn't a lot, but it's a start.

I have taken step classes a few times, which I really like, and seem to be good at. The class I picked to start with is a Sunday morning class, and I didn't know until the end of the second class that it's an intermediate level class. I'm generally keeping up, though, so I feel pretty good about that. I'm going to step again tonight, I think it's a different instructor, so it'll be interesting.

Last week, I posted that I went to the wrong class, and that class was Powerflex, which involves weights. It was tough, but I think I'll try to go wednesday. I want to do some weight training as well as cardio. I also want to try Urban Rebounding, which is basically jumping on a trampoline for 45 minutes, and Pilates, which I've never done and am a little anxious about trying.

I'm trying to do a little extra when I go to the gym for classes, like 20 minutes or so on the elliptical, to get an extra boost. I'd like to spend at least an hour at the gym five days a week (Tuesdays are crafty night and Thursdays I have class 8 am till 8:50 pm).

Aside from that, I haven't gotten my MRI results, I still have large bruises, school is going well, and I'm employee of the month at B&N. I missed everyone who went skiing, but I'm glad I stayed home, because bruises + ski jacket = disaster.
