Apr. 20th, 2005 10:34 pmHe's not trying to break up with me, apparently. For those of you behind the times, the post regarding the not boyfriend having changed status meant that he is now my boyfriend. We talked at length last night about everything, and it turned out that he wasn't explaining himself well, and I was reacting badly to what I thought he was saying (which wasn't at all what he actually was saying). He just wants to slow things down because he is scared of the potential move that may be coming up. However, while he says he wants to slow things down, he also said that if I weren't leaving, then he could imagine himself "getting down on one knee" for me. Mixed message city, but that's what men do.
In other news, liamstliam's trip to the Great White North was incredible amounts of fun. We visited over half of the breweries in Vermont in one day, drank great beer, toured the Ben and Jerry's factory (where they were doing tours, but not in production), visited the Magic Hat brewery (where they were in production, but not doing tours), ate sample cheese and tasted some wines, saw the Rock Art brewery guys putting together their new setup, hung out with some of my close friends, had a great Chocolate Thunder stout at Three Needs, sampled every brew on the menu at Pub and Brew, had great food in several places (and crappy food in at least one place), unsuccessfully tried to visit a bookstore, and discovered that Mondays are the worst day for being tourists (at least in Vermont). It was a lot of fun, and a much needed step back from life (as well as the first Daddy-Daughter bonding day in years).
Anyhow, I'm headed to bed, it's the first night I haven't been to Red Square in ages. I need my recovery time, last night was rough (I decided to drink away my sorrows over Jay, then made up with him when I was blitzed). Talk to you all soon, I hope.
