Mar. 2nd, 2008 10:12 pmMike and I went to a tapas bar for the first time tonight, at Bocado in Worcester. It was terrific. I tried venison, rabbit, and duck. The venison was absolutely delicious, and the duck was magnificent. The rabbit was kind of blah. We also had littleneck clams with chorizo, which I thought was so-so, and fried goat cheese which was AWESOME.
We also had one of the best wines I've ever tasted. What we managed to note and remember of it was that it was a 2005 Rioja Sierra Cantabria. Mike's going to try to find it around here, because we really enjoyed it. I also had a too expensive glass of port to go with our dessert of chocolate cheesecake, which was rich and delicious. Mike declared that he likes neither chocolate nor cheesecake, but liked the chocolate cheesecake.
All in all, a good (if pricy) meal. Now time for tv catch up and sleep.
