(no subject)

So I didn't get a ton done yesterday, since things took me longer than I expected. I finished hems on one tunic and finished sewing trim onto one tunic. The handsewing is taking me a long time. Also, Mike wanted to go hiking, so we went for a hike that ended in a torrential downpour soaking us to the bone. It was fun, though, and we were very good humored about it. I feel badly because I know Mike really wanted to get some good pictures, and he's dissapointed in the ones he got before the rain started.

Anyway, today we have to go to my mom's house to get stuff, so I'm not sure how much progress I'm going to make. I think I'll try to iron and cut some fabric now, so that I can just pound out some sewing.

So at this point, I think I have everything cut (except a choli, which I may not actually make) that needs to be for Pennsic.

This is my success list for the day so far:

iron massive amounts of fabric
cut pair of pants for Mike
cut tunic for Mike
cut two underdresses for me
cut two apron dresses for me
pin trim to Mike's brown tunic
sew and hem two aforementioned underdresses
pick up stuff at Mom's house
locate Niki's brooches

I'm going to try to get more sewing done, and maybe string the loom for the second legwrap.
