The past 20 or so hours have kind of sucked. Yesterday afternoon, I misread the gym schedule and showed up 45 minutes early for the wrong class. I worked out on the elliptical, then took the class anyway, but that was bound to make me sore today.
Next up was the trip to the MRI center, where they proceeded to make me into a human pincushion. It took three tries and four people to successfully get the IV needle for the contrast dye in. I was a wreck, and I think I probably bruised at least one tech's hand. They deserve it though, since I have three painful bruises myself from the needles. The MRI itself was about an hour, and wholy unpleasant.
Then, after a fairly restless night of sleep, the first thing I did after stepping out my front door was take a spill down our ice covered front steps. They were covered in ice because our landlord won't put on a gutter because he doesn't want water pooling in the driveway. So instead, we have icy steps. Nice trade.
I want a do-over.
