i have done it and it didn't work. i think it's cus i don't take in a lot of calories anyway and i burn alot naturally against not alot to burn from.

what has worked better for me is doing this on the burning side of calories not the intake.

so constantly change your work out from long slow one session to short and fast and instense. never to do the same routine or exercise in the same week or 10 day period.
